Manyara Wines, a family owned and operated vineyard and winery, was established on fertile land once used to breed and train thoroughbred race horses. The logo solution is immediately recognisable as a horses head with a bridle which instantly draws the viewer into the history of Manyara Wines. On closer inspection the logo symbol outlines the letterforms of the company. The flowing and almost organic nature of the symbol’s lines resemble a growing grapevine. Based on the horses head, the upright wine labels incorporate different graphic trunk markings that create a recognisable identity for each wine variety. The horizontal wine labels utilise the same die-form positioned on its side but depict the hills and valleys of the Adelaide Hills. The exterior sign's cut-out graphic element also depicts hills and valleys with the added benefit of seeing through to real growing vines. A website and various other communications have also been developed.
