Grünthal is a craft brewery located in the Adelaide Hills. Grünthal was the original name given to Verdun by Prussian settlers. They were accomplished farmers and the ‘G’ in the Grünthal logo incorporates the plots of land they tilled. With a name meaning ‘green valley’ it was only fitting to utilise the colour green in branding. The can background uses the ‘G’ as a repeat pattern representing fertile farmland while subtly nodding to the religious persecution the Prussian settlers endured back home.
